Policy scope

This policy explains how Penang Club collects, uses and discloses information when the website and its services are used, together with the privacy rights available to users.

Definitions

An Account is a unique service account. An Affiliate is an entity under common control, including control through 50% or more of voting ownership. Company, We, Us and Our mean Penang Club at 42B, Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, George Town. Country means Malaysia; Service and Website mean the Penang Club website; You means the individual or legal entity using it.

Other policy terms

Cookies are small files stored on a device. Device includes computers, mobile phones and tablets. Personal Data identifies or can identify an individual. A Service Provider processes data for the Club, while Usage Data is generated automatically through use of the service or its infrastructure.

Personal data collected

Information requested may include an email address, first and last name, telephone number and other details needed to identify or contact a user.

Usage data

Usage data may be collected automatically, including IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, visited pages, visit dates and times, time spent, unique device identifiers and diagnostic information sent by a browser. Mobile access may also disclose the mobile device type, unique ID, mobile IP address, operating system and browser.

The Club uses commercially reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal data. A parent or guardian should contact the Club if such information has been provided so it can be removed. Where consent is the legal basis and local law requires it, parental consent may be required before collection and use.

Third-party links are governed by their own privacy policies. Penang Club does not control and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Policy changes and contact
